Massage from Felicitea

Here at Felicitea, we believe happiness comes in many different forms: a good cup of tea, the sweet scent of chamomile as you lay down to sleep, bath products that make every step into the tub a step into heaven, and the fantastic feeling of laying on a massage table after an hour of pampering.

As you'll discover on our massage page, Summer is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and Bodyworker. (She passed her exam with high scores in all areas.) She attended the Lancaster School of Massage in Lancaster, PA. There she was trained in Swedish massage (the massage most people think of getting at a spa), as well as Polarity Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy(NMT), Deep Connective Tissue, Sports Massage, Chair Massage and Reflexology. She's also been trained to do Reiki. (We'll share more about these different modalities over the coming weeks.)

Massage with Felicitea is like many other things here at Felicitea: a blend. Our belief is that you get the most long term benefits by using all the tools and skills at our disposal. Incorporated into each session is work to relax and comfort the body and mind, as well as work to target specific issues. For example, if you have back and shoulder issues, your massage may be a mixture of Swedish massage to relax your body, deep connective tissue work and NMT on your problem areas to reduce tension and some reflexology or polarity therapy to bring energetic balance.

Currently massage is available here in Charlotte, NC at the office in Dilworth - only a few blocks from the East/West Blvd light rail station.
