After many cries of "my tea never tastes the same when I make it!" I've decided to take some action! Your tea at home should be as wonderful as the pro's cuppa.

During this class we'll discuss the basics of tea & it's history, steeping, equipment and sweeteners. There will be light snackage to go with your teas. Come prepared with any questions you may have! You can submit them before the class here.

New Yummy Things

I enjoy the quiet moments between the storms of tea orders (blend, pack, label. Rinse. Repeat. Reorder.) because they give me a chance to work on new things. New, yummy things. There are number of new, and delicious, coming out the kitchen.

First up, in an attempt to make happy Brandice, of SteapTV, I have been blending up something special. Brandice likes Earl Grey, as any good Trekkie ought, and has searched far and wide to find one that was perfect for curling up on the couch and getting down to work. She is currently taste testing the five sample blends I made up for her, and soon we'll be able to announce when it will be available on the site as she has very kindly agreed to share! Assuming you can get some before she orders it all! Her exact words:

You can't ask for anymore then that. That's what Felicitea does people, helps you fall in love again. Can you get any happier?

As a follow up to this delightful new tea blend, we're sharing it with The Secret Chocolatier. He's going to make Earl Grey Truffles. Yes. Truffles. For those of you in Charlotte, I will pass on the date when they will be released at the Tailgate Market. For those of you not lucky enough to live the Queen City, I've asked if he's able to ship. He's not able to with summer's heat, but later this year, if you get lucky, shipment options will be in place.

Also, in response to the wonderful response the Rooibus Sweet Tea has been getting, I'm working on some more Rooibus blends. As soon as they're ready, we'll share details with you right here.

A Taste of Massage & Tea

Tomorrow is the open house at the massage office.

If you're in Charlotte, NC come on over to Dilworth between 10am & 9pm to check out my new massage space, have a taste of tea, and ask any questions you might have - about tea or massage.

Sloth Tea, Oolong Summer, Hibiscus Mint, and Sweet Jasmine will be available iced. I'll also have to teas available hot.

Bring along your friends, coworkers, or family to visit. (I'll also have water and the best coffee in Charlotte available for those who aren't tea lovers.) (Coffee is being provided by Java Passage, voted Charlotte Magazine's Best of the Best for the third year in a row.)

I'll have something for everyone - massage, tea, coffee - all for free.

There will also be prizes for free massage sessions, tea samplers, and maybe some other cool things.

Massage Open House

For those of who've been, you know massage can be a little slice of heaven on a table.

What you may not know is that along with being a tea lover, blender and owner of Felicitea, is that Summer is a nationally certified massage therapist & bodyworker.
